Enigma

Tossed into a sea of nothingness, within my own body. My soul.
Bright flashes of light; happiness, followed by darkness; hatred of my own self. I grab onto random pieces in my life with frantic desperation, trying to force them to match the holes in myself.
Why am I so torn? The feeling of my body sliding over hundreds of razors has become a routine, a monster I hate but welcome out of familiarity.

Tossed into rays of sunshine, welcoming laughter and embraces.
Wonderful feelings fill my mind and heart as i smile at the people I love.

I am Whole.
I am Torn.
Therein lies the Enigma of Myself.

This is a very well written poem. I love your use of metaphores and your wonderful grasp of language.. I am totally impressed with your writing. As for emotions.. also have to commend you. You shouted out your innermost feelings, yet did it in such an elquent manner.. Bravo.. I cannot give this a high enough rating :) Hugs.. SG
