Unfit

Unfit

Unfit as a daughter.

What do you want from me?

Unfit as a lover.

What have I done?

Unfit as a friend.

Where is the line drawn?

Unfit as a child of God.

Why am I forsaken?

Why am I unfit? When I have done nothing but love unconditionally and try to be perfect, why am I tossed aside and deemed unworthy? All I am trying to do is make the pieces fit.

I like it especially the 1st half which I believe would stand on its own. as well Everyone tries to make the pieces fit... I find scissors and a big hammer work the best.

You are not unfit be proud of yourself and always do your best hold your head high and reach for the sky good poem

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
