You

I've held you so many times.
I've kissed your lips a thousand.
But now, every time I do, it seems too precious.
I'm putting all of myself into everything I do.
Just so you know, my love for you is true.
You are something special, something meant to be kept
And it's my goal to keep you.
You're worth more than you think.
You're so damned amazing, I wouldn't want anyone but YOU.

Wow, never say never, dawlin'. I thought several times throughout the course of my life that I'd found that "One". I haven't yet.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
