Expecting the Big Mac

Expecting the Big Mac

When life begins
Waking moments are short and sweet

As life continues
Horizons broaden to include the dreaded questions

Moving right along to the short age of seven
Life is full of miss-conception

In kicking time around
We find adolescents full of wonder and curiosity

When reaching the bright age of sixteen
Life is now more challenging and full of disbelief

Sneaking around the corner
Is the excitement of being and adult

And next, a huge step into the unknown
Unsure of life and where to go

After being twisted around and around
Life somehow settles down

Expectancy of life and it's known
Can be the sweetest of moments

Now in the prime of life
Somehow getting caught in a rut

Pressing on through the years
The need for challenge now excites

In hoping to cure the need for youth
The desire comes to have something flashy, bright, fast and or new

New horizons will appear
Nevertheless, is it life or just a part of the big mac
