    Forced Entry
    I cannot stand being alone
    Never could
    Yet this arrival spirals
    out of expectation placing
    Ancient walls of future damned
    Pounding fisted please release
    The trick is dreaming
    Finding peace in these

    Oh ardent seeker burned!
    Throughout long history
    Listen passive mostly ashen
    faced aghast excessive passions
    Behold the untold season scheme
    Entered left the rainy green
    Dawn consumes the courtyard scene
    Washes all the wounded clean

    We are free to wander away into realms of fantasy and to dream in search of truth and satisfaction, but we must return to realiy. In nature real truths lies hidden. "Dawn ccnsumes the courtyard scene / Washes all the wounded clean" is saying reams about the wonders and mysteries of Nature. Very beautiful and perfect lines to be enjoyed.

    Surrealism is an art form in which fantastic or incongruous imagery are created by means of unnatural juxtapositions or combinations , but therein is contained an hidden truth. In this poem , Kernan seems to seek to lure us into realms of fantasy, "The trick is dreaming" but seems to invite us or to force us to return to reality in the second stanza, "Behold the untold season scheme.....Dawn consumes the courtyard scene" We may wander away in search of truth, butb there is always real truth i

    I cannot see the connection between the title and the theme(s) of this poem. Bu that is one of the mysical tricks of the surrealistic poet. You have to search for relevance. Surrealism is an art form in which fantastic or incongrous imagery or effects are created by means of unnatural juxtapositions and contradictions, but there contained an hdden truth or hidden truths.
