I shall always be there

Maybe a bit too far

Yet close enough to your heart

Forever, is such a long time!

I wish we had a bit more

But love abridges distances

Cuts years from being apart

How can one keep on smiling?

While surrounded by miles of sorrows

Can we ever think of life?

Other than being just a start

How long is forever when we all

Have fallen in pits of hatred

When each breath of air is pain

That enters our lungs like darts

Forever, sounds very far

However, life has taught us hard

To expect only little dreams

No matter how a song is sang

Keep dreaming, hoping for best

Sadness, shall remain around

No matter how we fight it together

It awakens us with a bang

Keeps us awake against our wish

Keeps us feeling exactly the same

Sometimes it is pain that patches us

Sometimes, forever is a breath of heart
