    Free To Be Happy

Searching for safe harbors, lighthouse in the distance ~

    Intertwined with destiny
    at Anini Beach,

I wondered if I would ever again
    be able to dance?

    Rains summoned by divine design,
    trails out of reach.

Long-lost friend, thanks for the memories ~

    Ocean breezes, a butterfly
    fluttering along,

Now I am free to be happy ~

My heart sails along velvet windsongs.

short and as sweet as a heart sailing along velvet windsongs

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
