DANCING OVER THE RAINBOW

DANCING OVER THE RAINBOW

Karen danced across the Rainbow's border loving
Andrew once again with those hazel eyes sparkling ~
Remembering a life time ago: souls meeting.
Ever present, the romantic memories ~
Never forgotten, was the intensity:
Loving each other was always so easy.
Over and over, a lifetime of seeking;
Venus, behind hidden screens, started peeking,
Eros guarded by latent loonies lurking.
Silky sentiments' slow sensuous slipping,
And yet, destiny destinations intruding ~
Never again they said, although she was whispering:
Do you remember when we were really loving?
Remember when we were in Berlin and trying?
Every time we remember, we will be searching
What "could have been" will always be missing.
Although we love each other, my heart is breaking?
Love doesn't conquer all all the time.  Traveling
Over the Rainbow, all her dreams were glittering
Hopes of fantasies.  Then, windless sails revealing
Angels wanting more.  TRUE LOVE contains no wanting.
