    Getting It Out

Mysterious, Delirious, or just plain out furious
What ever the case, I know you are curious
I share my soul, my words, but on a page
I feel my feelings with such intense rage
My mind races with thoughts from here to there
They flow out of me onto the page to be shared
Wicked, waiting, wanting, needing so much
Sickened, jaded, daunting, dreading the touch
Wishful, hopeful thinking occupies the time
Lost inside my head, looking for the grand design
Whisper words unheard nobody listens any way
Close your eyes, open your heart, I have something to say
The time is passing us by so swfitly, its time to slow down
Take a moment to live your life, you will find it so profound
Stop looking for the faults in others, though they are easy to find
Look for soemthing to love in everyone, its a far better use of time
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet has troubles
Lend your hand when you see someone who is has stumbled
In the end you will see the world is in a better place
So when you say you did your part, you can look them in the face
And to that end I leave you with these things I say
Smile and be kind, try to make someone happy every day

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
