GHOST RIDERS

GHOST RIDERS

The long broken aspirations of life, teach.

But ghosts ride hauntingly through my mind.

The whys are floating just out of my reach.

Torment, anguish, regret are my companions, I find.

Please tell me is there any solace or balm.

Magical unicorn restore and refresh my soul?

Stop the wild fires from consuming my psalms.

Mirror, mirror  make the answer bold  unfold!

For I want to dance and sing on the wind

And carry my heart on wings of a dove.

Charitable and kind cloak weave and spin.

Softly and gently as whispers of  heavenly love.

For hope is as small and distant as a light

Of a firefly on a moonless stormy night.

The whispers of our spirits in the wind, and in our hearts and in the songs in our souls are what keep our souls alight in this place until we can go back home. Lovely write. Really. Write on.......Tempestlady

The apparition of your work will continually glide through the corridors of my mind ~ thank you, my friend!! : )

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
