good enough
All that I have done
Seem to sum up to nothing
No longer able to make my anyone proud
I tried so hard
Yet it means nothing
Diminished in my own eyes
For my best isn’t good enough
Like an old shack chipped away by time
My efforts are pointless
Even if polished they wouldn’t amount to anything
I have seem to die within my self
Sadly you can’t make anything for ashes
I’m just left behind
Hoping one day I’ll be good enough
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
