Head aches
As the thoughts spill in
My mind crushes like dried leaves
Piercing
Stabbing
Eating me away
Regurgitating who I am
And replacing me
Like a cracked skull
The pain seems only to spill out now
Staining everything I touch
Numb to my inner core
I helplessly move on
Shattered
Waiting to escape
This imprisoned state of mind

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
