    Good Friends And God

     Good friends gather down at the lake
    Listening to good music and singing
    Talking about the good and bad of life
    Tears may fall but they keep smiling
    A song plays that brings back memories
    Sometimes good sometimes bad
    But with music and friends around
    The sad times and thoughts soon turn smiles
    I'm thankful for my friends and music
    Helping me make through all the turns in life
    I know I can cry when I need to
    And still have the good feeling of pride
    So if your a friend I am blessed to have
    I say thank you for standing by my side
    And remember this one thought of mine
    You and God are my only guiding lights
