    Grand Ma!

It been a while since you left
But your smile and brave words remain
They remind me of who you wanted me to be
I miss, love and respect my sweet Grandma!

I never though that you could leave so soon
I wanted you to stay forever because you were worth
You put all your energy and wisdom in teaching us
You replaced my weak heart with a strong one

You made this place worth of living
Everywhere you went you left foot and mouth marks
Everybody praised your wise way of life
The small and big alike clang to you

You were able to play the role of old and young
You were in both world’s tradition and modern
I guess that why your hut was fully packed
People traveled miles to come and visit you

I know you can hear and see me, but can’t talk back
And that why I am writing this and sticking on the wall
So that you can read all the time and recall the times
I hold onto the best moments we spent together

If I could make a wish then it would me ‘GrandMa come back’
How I would love to spend one more moment with you
To show you around my life and my achievements
The changes that have happened since you left

When I am stuck I call your name
And somehow I get strength to fight on
That how I know you are watching down on me
So please grandma do not stay far from me

Gone from the face of earth you maybe
But you are alive in the face of my mind and heart
Your presence helps me through the journey
And that how I always want it to be

IT'S NOTHING LIKE THAT PRAYER WARRIOR GRANDMOTHER THAT SHIELDS US FROM THE EVILS OF LIFE. I LOVE MINE ALSO...

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
