    An Honored Friendship

I am so honored to put this on a big paper
Where you can read and know what you mean
Because you are my true friend
In every way you touch my life and heart

Your friendship means so much to me
I can not afford to put a value on our friendship
It value is far beyond words
Your sweet caring and giving ways means a lot

You always offer me your shoulder to lean on
You hold me up when am stuck in a hole
You walk behind me to watch my back
You walk ahead of me to lead me on the right path

I am truly blessed to have a true friend
We have come miles and we got many more to cover
You have been my teacher, student and adviser
You have helped me understand myself

You have tough me the value of a Caring heart
A heart that can accommodate others and give as well
You have acted like my mirror and pillar
    My supporter and supervisor

I have been honored on many occasions
To share with you my drama, dreams and dares
The joy of journeying the jungle with you
Talking of dreams and what to do with them

    smile... well done poet!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
