happy 1st anniversary
it's been a year,
since we solemnly swear.
to be with each other,
and be a lifetime partner.
it's been a year,
since we say 'i do'.
a best friend to turn to,
when my self esteem is low.
it's been a year,
since we pledge our love.
a blessing from up above,
even we don't have dove.
it's been a year,
of tribulations and trials.
sacrifice and self denial,
i know we'll get by.
it's been a year,
some laughter and tears.
hope we'll be together,
till our golden anniversary year.
it's been a year,
so i thank Thee.
