Poem Commentary

This poem was written in tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His belief that all men and women are created equal is an encouraging message and his peaceful way of getting his message across to the world has made his place in history very valuable.

Happy M.L.K. Day

In my own way,
What can I say,
In memory of;
A man so loved ...

A godly man,
With a pure heart,
Who one day dared;
To prove he cared.

He gave his all,
Hearing God's call.
He changed the world;
For young and old.

Today we say,
In peaceful ways,
We all are free;
No doubt we see.

So, boys and girls,
In this vast world,
Each day lets show;
The love we know.

Nice poem about Martin. You might want to say; (He changed the world/ for young and old.) It would read smoother. A poet friend// RH Peat
