    HUH?

    I was
    wondering...
    If you're wondering
    What I'm wondering
    When I think of you?

    I really
    wondered...
    Whether you wondered
    What I wondered
    About the things you do?

    You should be
    wondering...
    Why I'm wondering
    If you ever wonder
    Do you have a clue?

    No longer
    Do I wonder
    Why you  never wondered
    But...
    You're wondering now
    Why I'm through with you

A uniquely memorable composition. If I was a wise-ass (perish the thought), I'd say it's just... wonderful!

What a grand poem. The one word line (but) doesn't work however. just bring the (you're) up behind the ellipsis. I almost feel that you could cut the last line. and change (but) (bet) (bet you're wondering now.) which would infer you are through with whomever. And leave more of an epiphany for the reader. but I do like the poem as it stands except for the (but) one word line. I do know you want the (oooo) rhyme however. A poet friend// RH Peat

thanks so much for the comment...and bet would fit nicely there

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
