I must go the fog is rising...
I must go the fog is risingThe clouds are darkening and the sky is rumbling
I hear the thunder boom and the lightening strike
lighting up the midnight sky,
your voice is trembling and full of fear
you know this time will be the last time face to face
As you turn around to leave
I feel a sudden relief,
your world is breaking while mine has a new beginning
I look out the window to see
the rain come pouring down on you like heavy weights,
While I sit beside the fire nice and warm
I start to wonder if I did the right thing
though I can not feel bad because you lied,
Once it was my turn for my heart to break
no longer is it my turn to cry
so I smile not feeling any sense of responsibility,
because you lied
so now you cry.
