I'll Bury Myself...

I'll Bury Myself...

I don't need your sympathy and I don't need your charity
I don't need you to be sorry after I asked you to marry me

just leave me to die in pieces while I look for peace

and let me seek solace and search for my soul's release...

...even though I won't find it, I can pray for it, at least...

I can do without your well wishes, welcomes and greetings

I will no longer need them,
for in a while, I will be leaving

I don't need your helping hands, I can carry my own casket

I don't need you afterward either, I can also close and latch it

don't try to pay for my funeral, I no longer need your woman's wealth

and keep your shovel at your side because I can lower and bury myself
