    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this right after a phone call with my cousin where he talked about his girlfriend. strange how sometimes it takes someone else talking about how in love they are for you to realize you truly love someone yourself

    In the End

    In the end, you're still my best friend

    In the end, I'll still have your back

    In the end, you'll always make me smile

    In the end, you'll still know me more than I know myself

    In the end, I'll wipe away your tears

    In the end, you'll despise whoever causes mine

    In the end, you'll still know all my ticklish spots

    In the end, you'll still know just what I need

    In the end, you'll still be able to see under my mask

    In the end, I'll still want to hug you

    In the end, I'd give anything for you to hold me

    In the end, I'll still think you're amazing

    In the end, your smile will still be brilliant

    In the end, you're the best person I know

    In the end, I'll still love you

    In the end, I'll still be yours

    In the end, I can only hope you still love me

    Great consistency...the story that inspired it is what really gives this the points.
