    In the Gentle Breeze

feel you in the gentle breeze,

    That flows about each day.

I feel you in the moonlight,

Remember the night you walked away.

I knew it would be the last time,

    I would watch you leave,

    I lingered at the window,

That's when I began to grieve.

    I can hear your voice,

    So deep and so profound,

It calls to me in silence,

But I still perceive the sound.

I sense you in the darkness,

    Before I fall asleep,

And when I dream I see you,

    I wake myself and weep.

Very Creative and Deep! Love It!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
