    Just Golden Things

The little boy with golden hair,
    The one so adorable,
    With skin so fair,
    I danced with him,
    He danced with me,
    We shared some incredible,
    Memories,
    He's my brother,
    The younger one,
    Today,
    He's a man,
    He holds his son,
    I whisper softly,
    "Just golden things,"
    Not tons of money,
    Nor diamonds rings,
    Can fill your heart,
    With such a joy,
    You're a man Ace,
    Just hold your boy........

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
