    Mystery of My Heart

    Oh mystery of my heart
    Delve into each chamber
    Search out the depths
    Of its longing

    Steady the wavering hand
    That stretches forth
    For thee

    Stand beneath the night sky
    Embrace it
    For tis the same vastness
    That mine eyes behold.

    Tis the same stars
    That thou wishes upon
    The same love
    That makest thoust heart
    Beat
    With a mighty cadence.

    As if to nourish
    The veins
    That carry forth
    Life
    Life for which
    My love is bestowed.

    Oh mystery of my heart
    Rescue me from the depths
    Of the darkness
    Where no randsom
    Can be traded

    For tis my soul
    That beckons thee
    Screams for thee
    Imagines thee
    As mine own
    My very own

    Oh mystery of my heart
    You are no secret
    You are my love
    My life's breath
    The wind that carries me
    Carries me forth
    For I am not alone

    You are with me
    My mystery
    My love
    My secret
    Our secret

    And as we are apart
    May the wind
    Kiss your cheek
    In the absence
    Of my lips

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
