Ministry In Me

Ministry In Me

Oh Lord, thou hadst given me a gift,
And yet I have not used it for your will.
You blessed me by using me
To minister to others with the words you put to pen through me.

Lord, you know I have struggled,
And you've seen my many tears.
But you knew I could minister effectively
Only if I had walked that road.

Now I stand ready, my Lord.
Through me may others come to know your grace.
Let my words bring others to know you.
Let them see Jesus in me.

Yes Lord, minister through me.
Unleash a torrent of wisdom and a new vitality.
May I be humble, yet unswerving.
Number me in the 144,000 who will convert a nation.

Now, I feel You pulling on me,
And only through complete subjugation will I be worthy.
My heart belongs to you, my Lord.
You are my only focus now.

I know that as I live for you,
I shall be affronted, abused and taunted.
But in that crowd will be the one.
The one I shall bring home to you.

For one begat one, who begat one.
I know that souls be your inheritance.
Let the next Testament which falls from you lips
Speak of Paul, speak of Moses and speak of me.

For you see, my Lord,
There's a yearning, a love and a fire.
I am consumed by you.
And there's a ministry in me.

So I'll wait for you at the crossroads, my Lord.
I'll walk with you and grasp your every word.
So open that gate and let the words flow from me.
For there burns a ministry in me.

I feel the holy spirit in your words and dedication to the working of the harvest. IM going to ask you straight out . Are you annointed ? One of the small flock ?. You mentioned them in your poem.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
