Living In The Past
These words glint in the morning sunlight,
Catching the sun’s eye.
I cannot see, nor can I hear,
The world seems quite transparent.
The train had passed,
Leaving not a trace
For me to try and follow.
The door still stands wide open,
Inviting me, beckoning me,
But as I walk through,
Another endless corridor stretches before my eyes.
