Loneliness
Loneliness is not flat.
Loneliness is non denominational
And never discriminates.
Lonely has no demensions so
Why do we try to
Measure 'It' by depth?
Lonely is not obscure muck.
It's girth spreads as if an
Entity; Living and breathing.
Loneliness is cunning.
A cow lowing in the distant night.
That drip, drip, drip
From the bathroom sink at 3 am and
Not knowing how to fix it.
Lonely has good grip yet deceivingly
Threadbare; Drapes fluttering
By a cool wind suggesting
Window be shut; With no
Options as to 'who'...
Powerful is Lonely.
A coyote howling at the moon
Invokes thoughts of God,
And just where you might meet up.
Too numb to see that very
Possibility while watching moths
Spiraling in foggy haze,
Beckoned by light of an October full moon.
I wish I could float in that mist...
Without memory.
I am neither deaf nor blind.
Though how I pray I were.
Loneliness loves pain.
The night surrounds me in its cloke,
Empty of arms.
How does hope hide in moonlight?
