LOOKING AT FORTY, Written by my Grandma Emma

I looked in the mirror to see what I'd see
A face just as smiley looked back at me
    Brown eyes that sparkled
    And were just as bright-
    No horrid transformation
    Had taken place overnight
I turned a cartwheel - just to be sure
I was not much more crippled
    Than the day before
    Yes, today I'm forty
    But I'm still me
    And hope I'm smiling
    Should I find myself facing
    An hundred and three.

The end of this poem to me took away from the overall poem.
