    Mommy, where did you go??

Mommy, mommy where did you go,
I turned and you weren't there,
You left me for your drugs
    I wondered if you cared.

    Mommy, mommy why'd you lie?
You turned your back on me,
I was positive that our relationship
    was a long garantee.

Mommy, mommy times have changed you into...
    I don't know,
I wonder where my mommy went
and why she had to go.

    Mommy, mommy how are you
    and who your friend today?
You swap "friends" like a deck of cards
    and act like it's okay.

    Mommy, mommy when have relations
    been more at ther ends,
I'm giving up I'm letting go
of my mommy & my friend.

I see that this is a portion of another one of your poems. I gave it a "9". I would have gave it a "10" but you need to spell check and fix a few words, overall a great poem.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
