So bright and shining as a star
And yet I feel so cold

I felt the warmth in his embrace
    The solace of his hands
    I taste his presence evermore
But I do not feel like I felt before

So full of passion and love for me
But then he left and I don’t feel
    He left a vacuum behind
    And there was sweetness
    I now don’t find
