    The Old Railroad

    The old frozen stream
Of brown rusty tracks and worn out logs
    Never flowing, never changing
    Outlasting time
    Yet, pointing to foreign lands
To freedom of heart and soul
And a destiny not yet known.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
