    The Feast

    Sitting on a silver tray
    For close inspection.
    Little naked meat
Unmasked after the play of honor.

    What’s going to be?
    A bird's prey or a big feast?
    -- I do not know.

No one takes the first bite
    Except for the one
Residing in my heart, who sees all
Who never eats, yet has consumed all.

I'm not so sure what is behind this poem, but it seems to say a lot more than the mere words are telling me, like there is some message there about you, some revelation, or exposing of the inner soul. Great little read. Moses

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
