    Poem Commentary

    I'm talking about my husband.  He has one of those smiles that melts your heart.  It sprinkles sunshine on each person he meets.

    Lovely Smile

    When you look at me and smile

    It warms my heart for a long while


    It makes me weak in the knees

    And makes me beg you please oh please


    It fills me with happiness and pure joy

    It makes me yell oh boy oh boy


    I love your smile, it lights up the world 

    It’s like sprinkles of sunshine twirled and twirled

     
    And for now as you can probably see

    Your smile means so much to me

    Light-hearted and real. Good effort at rhymed couplets. The meter is a little rough.
