    Meshed

    I pause
in a room full of people
    I am alone
conversing in codes and dialect that mean nothing
sharing tales of nothing to no one
as they gaze into each others eyes
enthralled by the lack of themselves
    they see within each other
in a building full of rooms
    I am alone
people coming and going from this place to that
rushing to get nowhere and achieve nothing
    upon roads of deconstructed preroads
    the cycle is unending
    the journey long and enduring
    the story here will everlast

in a city full of buildings full of rooms full of people
    We are alone

wow, that was an excelent poem, the truth of being surround with nothing really sounding out. perhaps the only people left with anything to say are poets writting about a lack of life around them, very well put. Phe

I could see you there alone watching listening to the crowd busy talking but you can't hear what they're talking about. Is that right? Well anyway, it's a good write...10+
