My Temporary High.
You were the guy that became my temprary high.
I had you...
Then you pasted me by.
I took a deep breath so as to take you in.
I held that breath as I slowly counted to ten.
You were my temporary high.
I felt I was above all,
Like I was high in the sky.
You, my temporary high, gave me no reason to shy.
And all the time belonged to me,
When you were my temporary high.
But my high quickly began to die.
I could feel the rush of sigh,
From the vanish of you,
My temporary high.
Silenced here in this bed I lye,
With the effects of you my temporary high,
That has now pasted me by.
There is no way I can hide,
You were my temporary high.
As though I was able to fly,
With you by my side.
Now, I know some highs are in fact lies.
And those highs tend to die,
Because they remain in ties.
So to you my temporary high,
I must say fare well,
And my final good-bye.
My temporary high.
