NATIVES
We are all Americans
In this great continent
North, Central and South
Rich and poor
Black, brown and whites
Different cultures
Different languages
From the one that saw the earth
To the scientists cleaning the air
Embracing the roots of our ancestors
Building new bridges in this digital era
Nuclear power will blind us all
The New Testament is for real
A cloud of fear is coming near
But its time to stand and heal
Erase our scars, clean our hearts
Hear mother Earth playing its drums
Pow Wow enchanting us with a song
Be the sword that cuts this tangled web
A river going wild to embrace the waterfall
Put on the mask and dance with me tonight
Forget about divisions, there are no borderlines
Only green fields where our children can play
Seat on the circle where dreams can be made
Who is not an American? I ask in distress
After the rain we will elevate our wings
Looking at the sun with one flag in between
In this great continent
North, Central and South
Rich and poor
Black, brown and whites
Different cultures
Different languages
From the one that saw the earth
To the scientists cleaning the air
Embracing the roots of our ancestors
Building new bridges in this digital era
Nuclear power will blind us all
The New Testament is for real
A cloud of fear is coming near
But its time to stand and heal
Erase our scars, clean our hearts
Hear mother Earth playing its drums
Pow Wow enchanting us with a song
Be the sword that cuts this tangled web
A river going wild to embrace the waterfall
Put on the mask and dance with me tonight
Forget about divisions, there are no borderlines
Only green fields where our children can play
Seat on the circle where dreams can be made
Who is not an American? I ask in distress
After the rain we will elevate our wings
Looking at the sun with one flag in between
