Nature
Endless shades of dappled green,
A canopy of a thousand dreams,
Sturdy bark to rest our feet,
Soft whispers from the leaves
The steady rhythm of the waves,
Splash away the scorching heat,
Again and again like a loyal dog,
Every second that I breathe
Twinkling like a diamond,
Protecting us as we sleep,
Leaving us at the break of dawn,
Thankfully not for very long
With April, follows the marigolds,
Blossoms, offering itself to the world,
Like a stream of golden sunshine,
Like the laugh of an innocent child
Just a star in the ebony night,
Just a flower in the colossal meadow,
Just a drop in the mighty ocean,
Just a leaf in the towering tree
