The Rainbow of Tomorrow
All I can hear right now,
Are all the screams,
All the madness,
That engulfs me.
The clouds erupt,
Like they're mad at me too,
And then comes the rain,
Like tears pouring out of my heart.
Another person walks by,
Another sneering glare,
I don't even know what I did,
To deserve all this.
I can't see them anymore,
Just a blur,
Another smudged line,
In the book of today.
All I can see is the world,
Spinning around me,
It's all going too fast,
And I can't keep up.
Suddenly, a picture,
A vision, comes to my mind,
And I open my eyes,
As the rain fades away.
I see right in front of me,
Like a glimmer of hope,
Like a shadow of happiness,
The rainbow of tomorrow.
