It never can be easy
It never can be right
Someones heart is always breaking
In the middle of the night
I should have done it differently
Or, perhaps just walked away
Its just as hard to say goodbye,
as it is to stay.
There's no beautiful goodbyes
No easy way to let go
I just hope that you find happiness
And all you're searching for
I know I've let you down
And broken all your trust
Just wanted to say goodbye
I know its not enough
Perhaps I was a fool
To hurt your tender heart
But, I never thought, it would end like this
Not from the very start.
I'm sorry for the pain I caused,
And if I made you cry
And wish there was some way to say,
Some beautiful goodbye...
