On any other Day

~ One can close the mind and crush the will of a man but it's the Heart and soul that will find a way ~

I took a walk tonight and tried to number the stars, the distance between you and me?

It's never felt so very far.

It's been so long since I've stopped and poured my heart out to You . . .

Sitting in the silence of the night-- I could speak of the things I long to do; where I long to be

and we could measure the distance between each dream. If I could stop-- I would-- I guarantee this!

I long to be in Your presence again; to have Your blessed assurance that all will be well.

You don't need me I need You.

I'm at a loss for words and I need you to lead the way. I've done the best I can so far-- but I fear it's

not enough. There's so much more to be done.

with a heart felt jaded broken apart likend to a distant picture frame the images all discarded

somewhere out in the rain. How I need more of You!


How could I know this peace so overwhelming? How could I measure Your Love?

If this night is my one chance to get it right then grant me this chance to fall to my knees

and start over again , I never gave love a chance the dreams and heartaches I've seen have

faded away and all that's left is You.

I took a walk tonight and numberd the stars to measure the distance to where You are,

because where You are is exactly where I long to be.
