The Mysterious Heart and Mind of Samuel Herschings
(Like Butch & Sundance)
I have walked in the rain, searching through all my pain- Hoping for an answer to all the questions… no
one knows. I want to know that my life is just beginning. I can't help but believe that the sun will shine
tomorrow and that we’re gonna make it better than today. I want to reach out and take hold of the
stars in my sky- I want to have a dream that's worth dreamin' and risking all for. We've seen the same
things and walked these same streets and the days… the're growing shorter as we all grow old. Yet
there's something about us…yes, we can make it better, it's us against the world the way it's been
done before! We're on our way; it's worth the journey, worth the risk that we're taking, cause we'll
never be here again. Maybe I’m wrong perhaps I’m right I was on my knees praying for the world to
change but then I found a saviour and a friend - and the darkness…. it just seems to fade away. The
heartache over yesterday? My worries for tomorrow? As I move on to a better place and learn to live -
right here- right now-we've got a good thing going as we live- so I think I"ll be alright, A friend once told
me,” it's these day's that makes us who we are” - so let's learn to accept the love that our hearts give,
and to keep the faith for if all we have is God and us? - is life still not worth the living?
