    Pain of Losing Family

    Son brother and future father

    We are born we live we die

    There is no other order.

     

    Daughter sister and future mother

    We love we cherish we strive

    For family and no other.

     

    We wish we made things right

    We regret the past and try to look to the future

    But memories of the past seem to stain.

     

    To think what it would be like to watch our loved ones leave

    We know the pain of being left behind

    And we know what the future could hold.

     

    The pain of losing a son, brother, or father

    The pain of losing a daughter, sister, or mother

    What greater pain is there?.  No other.

    I agree completely. This loss leaves a hole in your heart that no one can repair.
