Biography
Born in Cleveland, Ohio I am a midwest girl at heart, but I lived in Florida near the beach for over 15 years. I love the ocean and the beach and the sunsets, which are subjects of some of my poems. After 32 years of marriage I went through a divorce and the grief that follows. Writing poetry helped me to release a lot of emotions and feelings at that time. I also started going to a country and western club where I learned to line dance and met some very nice people. About five years after my divorce I met a widower who lost his wife to cancer. We started out as good friends, and soon we realized we were falling in love. In December of 2004 on Christmas morning he proposed and a year later we were married in a beautiful wedding on the beach at sunset. At 61 years of age I became a blushing bride. Next month we will be married for four years. We thank God for bringing us together. You're never to old!!! LOL I have one son, two daughter-in-laws and two very special grandchildren, Raven who is 8 and Sabre who is 10. We are now living in Greenville, South Carolina in a lovely city where we can see the mountains, but I still miss the beach!!
