Poetry
Poetry is the sound of souls binding together
to create one on being soul
to sing with beauty
and hope telling stories of past lived lifes
from horror to happiness and in between
these stories that ring in my ears like lyrics to a
song that i can't get out of my head
the storyteller of poetry come forth
with their Jazz singing voices filled with the Blues

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
