    "Just Friends"

     You've said that its over
    friends is all we'll be
    hearing those words from you
    has finally made me see

    what we had is gone
    there's nothing left to save
    the love we once felt never died
    it just faded away

    Friends will be okay, I guess
    I can learn to accept
    our dream is really over
    there's really nothing left

    So if we're only friends
    let's work and keep it together
    Love can fade so easily......
    Friendships are forever................

    Beatiful poems, but it is kind of hard to be in love with someone and try to be there friend. But I do understand were you coming from because we don't want to let go.

    In your poem you make a good point in indicating that love can indeed fade way. So many know of the break ups that occur and the pain that is present there, but few realize that fading way is less of a fall but no less difficult. I appreciate that here you also ease the poem along, just like fading love.
