RIP Robert Davis You're my tatoo on my heart!
RIP ROBERT GOODSPEED
Death finally comes. From out birth we begin moving toward death. It may be that death upon this earth is only shrugging off a body grown weary and broken so that the soul can display itself in some better place.
Each of us was made by God
And some of us grew tall.
Others stood in the wind
Their branches sure to fall.
A friend lay dying
And I could have said
Raise your head a little
& I’ll Show you Spain.
But he slipped away
& I’ll Never have the chance again.
There was a man so very hungry
I could have given bread
Bread coasts very little
But instead we stared at the rain
But he went away
& I’ll Never have the chance again.
There was a man who loved me
& I could have held his head
Against my chest
& helped to ease the pain
But he is gone away
& I’ll Never get the chance again.
There was a man who
Loved his daughter so
When upon he looked at her
His heart and soul would glow
Now we lay him pain free and at rest
He’ll be up in heaven helping with the rest!
This ones to Katie from mom and daddy! I love you! RIP ROBERT GOODSPEED
