    Poem Commentary

A love poem for my long lost lover.

    She's Someone Special

    She’s Someone Special

There is a special someone, she came into my life.
A friend I met so long ago, so young  we were that night.
Although we never knew our hearts, and never realized,
That someday we would fall in love, by destiny we thrive.

I found this special friend of mine, so many years have past.
But love has surfaced once again, and this time it will last.
You are the one I’m dreaming of, each morning and each night.
This time it seems so very real, it feels so very right.

I tell you this from deep within, my feeling oh so true.
Like nothing I have ever felt, I feel this way for you.
You are my special someone, I feel it in my heart.
I want to always be with you, and never be apart.

When we get old and weary, our life near at an end,
May love for us grow stronger, and friendship never bend.
I know the time we spend apart, is but a mortal test.
Cause when we meet again someday, The Lord our hearts will Bless.

I love you like I never knew, all these lonely years.
My prayers finally answered, it brings my heart to tears.
A joy I’ve always hoped for, a friend to share my life,
A special little someone, to love and call my wife.

To find someone as you have cycles within your heart and after many years; I am left here filled with tears. ~ me ke aloha as my heart sings a joyful tune for you. (follow me as I still follow you)

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
