Special Stars
A child said grandma's gone, and I worry everydayWhere's she's at, if she's ok.
Her mother sat her down to say,
She's in a better place today.
You see the twinkling stars at night,
And when the moon is shining bright.
Between it all, in a big chair,
Is grandma rocking, look over there.
And sure enough we found that chair,
Among the stars just nestled there.
I think it's grandma's special sign,
The more I looked, the more it shined.
And now at night when I look at the sky,
It makes me happy, I don't cry.
Because I know she's watching me,
Rocking and smiling happily.
