Suffocating

Suffocating

Days new light shining bright
night drops of dew glistening in sight

thoughts wander to nothing
to many thoughts notting

looking forward far into the distance
far and away I can see no stance

spaces in between spaces
colors a myriad in so many faces

breezes drifting past my cheeks
my eyes close nothing more to seek

silence is felt so close suffocating
comfort not found, still locating
