Surprise
Under the stars in the moonlit sky.Joined together on the ground we lye.
The peaceful silent night we sleep.
This breathless moment of time we keep.
Embracing it, our body entwined.
Rejoicing with our body and mind.
Embraced until the morning light.
Engaged in morning delight.
Enjoying life how it's meant to be.
This time will pass too soon for me.
The clock will tick the time away.
As seconds pass our life we pay.
Life not lived is life that's lost.
Our precious time is what it cost.
So hold your breathe and close your eyes.
Your life will be one big surprise.
